I am an interdisciplinary researcher working at the intersection of climate change, population dynamics, and environmental health. I recently completed my postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability, and I hold a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies. My work examines how climate variability and extreme weather events influence demographic outcomes such as fertility, migration, and health, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. I use mixed-methods approaches, combining large-scale quantitative data with field-based insights. I have collaborated closely with local research partners to ensure policy-relevant and context-specific findings. Broadly, I aim to generate evidence that supports climate adaptation, health equity, and sustainable development.
