Research Scientist, Arizona State University

Microbiology; Metabolomics; Biomarkers; Machine Learning

I am a bioanalytical chemist and research scientist at Arizona State University and the Biodesign Institute utilizing analytical chemistry, microbiology, and statistical techniques to leverage breath-based volatile compounds as biomarkers of human health and disease. Much of my work centers on developing breath biomarkers of lung infections. I am also interested in exploring novel strategies for the pre-processing and analysis of metabolomics data for biomarker discovery, from traditional approaches to advanced statistical learning techniques.
